Occupational Health Services. The Department will provide an occupational health services program for all VA employees consistent with this Agreement and Department policy. Where there are 300 or more federal employees working in one location and there are no existing health services, arrangements shall be made to establish a Department occupational health unit unless occupational health services can be furnished by participation in a nearby occupational health unit serving other federal employees. For locations with fewer than 300 employees, occupational health services shall be provided by contract with private or public sources or by establishment of an occupational health service unit, whichever is deemed to be more feasible. Employees shall notify their supervisor when they seek treatment from an occupational health unit. When this is not feasible, they may report directly to the occupational health unit or person authorized to render emergency care. Facilities will have written procedures on how to address medical emergencies occurring to employees. The confidential nature of medical conditions shall be recognized and respected. Employee medical records maintained by the Department must be separately and distinctly secured from any other medical records. Procedures for disability retirement and OWCP are not part of the Occupational Health program and are governed by Article 41 - Worker’s Compensation and other applicable authorities. Occupational health services will be provided under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
Occupational Health Services. Xxxxxx shall provide Align-Rite with Occupational Health Services in accordance with the description and costs as set forth in Exhibit "K".
Occupational Health Services. The Contractor shall utilize medical treatment at the Occupational Health Facility for any injury that occurs at KSC or the CCAFS. Occupational Health Services. Occupational Health Services will notify and evaluate registered nurses, as appropriate, in the event of exposure to a patient or employee with a contagious illness or conditions. In the event an employee contracts a work-related illness or condition, evaluation and treatment shall be provided through Occupational Health Services.
Occupational Health Services. ABG makes occupational health services available to ATBB employees, particularly under § 3 of the German Occupational Health and Safety Act (ASiG), to include the following services: • Occupational safety committee meetings • Plant inspections • Workstation inspections • Counseling if a job change is necessary for health reasons and integration and re-integration of the handicapped in the work process • Comments on all occupational health questions • First aid organization within the plant • Preventive screenings, particularly pursuant to § 3(1) No. 2 of the German Occupational Health and Safety Act and § 15 and 16 of the German Hazardous Substances Regulation (GefStoffV) and BGV A 2 and BGI 504 (selection criteria for special occupational health screenings). Occupational health services are provided by the plant physician working for ABG and/or by his deputy, who has corresponding qualifications. The plant physician is authorized to perform preventive screenings. ATB retains the plant physician in accordance with § 2 of the German Occupational Health and Safety Act and BGV A 2 “Plant Physicians” (version of 01 July 2005) for the minimum number of hours defined therein. Accordingly, the required service hours of the plant physicians are as follows: Group A (including metal workers): 0.6 hrs. per year and employee Group B (all sectors except those listed in Group A or C): 0.5 hrs. per year and employee Group C (business and administrative sector): 0.2 hrs. per year and employee The non-specific preventive occupational health screenings are included in these service hours. These screenings currently include, for example:
Occupational Health Services. On request, Suppliers shall provide Supplier Personnel with relevant specialist knowledge, skills, experience and training to operate in specialist environments, such as: Specialist knowledge of chemical and biological incidents; Physical resilience when working in rough terrain; Experience of heavy manual handling; Knowledge of specialist equipment which shall be notified by the Contracting Authorities; Training in the use of specialist personal protective equipment; and/or Knowledge and/or qualified to work with a fitted respirator. The Supplier shall allow the City of York Council to interview and approve Supplier Personnel who shall be permanently based on City of York Council premises delivering the Services.

The Supplier shall include the following in the review: Supplier Personnel levels are being maintained and monitored to cope with Service demands and that a Supplier Personnel resource planning process is regularly reviewed and maintained; All clinical policies and procedures are being monitored and followed; The maintenance and secure storage of medical records; Supplier Personnel are professionally accredited in order to provide the Services; The Supplier is compliant with SEQOHS standards; Supplier Personnel professional qualification accreditation is monitored and maintained at organisational level; and The complaints process is effectively monitored and maintained by sampling 10% of complaints and reviewing that all processes are followed and appropriate records maintained.
Occupational Health Services. Lot 1 – Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programmes, Fully Managed Service (*this schedule covers the Occupational Health element only - see Annex 3 for Employee Assistance Programmes requirement) Lot 2 – Occupational Health Services on a National Basis. Lot 4 – Occupational Health Services on a Regional Basis Lot 1, Lot 2 & Lot 4 shall provide a compliant route for Buyers to procure Occupational Health Services, providing Occupational Health advice and Services for all of Buyers Personnel within UK Central Government and Wider Public Sector Organisations including those working remotely, travelling or postings overseas. The Supplier shall be responsible for the provision of Occupational Health Services. Buyers will have the option to conduct a Further Competition with the successful Suppliers where the maximum prices agreed at Framework level can be improved upon by the Supplier or Direct Award where the maximum Framework prices will apply. The Supplier shall provide all aspects of the requirements for Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 4 as set out in Framework Schedule 1: Annex 2. Lot 1 Suppliers must read this Annex 2 in conjunction with Annex 3 and must provide all aspects of the requirements for Lot 3 as specified therein.
