Trip Cancellation. If the Insured Person’s outward journey as a fare paying passenger from the Country of Residence to an international Place of Destination on a Common Carrier is cancelled before the commencement of the Period of Insurance due to any of the reasons specified herein below, then the Company will indemnify on a reimbursement basis, up to the amount specified against this Benefit in the Policy Schedule, for those travel and accommodation expenses that the Insured incurred and cannot recover and for which no value can be derived without knowledge of the likelihood of cancellation: (i) The Insured Person, his/her Immediate Family Member or any one of his/her travelling companion dies or is hospitalized in an Emergency due to an Illness or Injury for at least 2 consecutive days provided that such Illness or Injury shall not first occur earlier than 10 consecutive days from the scheduled commencement of the Period of Insurance; or (ii) Terrorism, Natural Calamity (Earthquake, storm, flood, inundation, cyclone or tempest ) at or in the vicinity of the Place of Origin of the journey, the ultimate scheduled Place of Destination or any intermediate place which is involved in or related to the proposed journey; or (iii) Strikes and Riots provided that the peril takes place prior to the commencement of the Period of Insurance at or in the vicinity of the Place of Origin of the journey, the ultimate scheduled Place of Destination or any intermediate place which is involved in or related to the proposed journey ;or (iv) Loss of Passport of the Insured Person not earlier than 10 consecutive days from the scheduled commencement of the Period of Insurance; or (v) Advisory issued by government of any country not to travel, Compulsory quarantine or prevention of travel by government of any country; or (vi) Presence of the Insured Person is required by judicial authority or law enforcement agency in the course of its proceedings during the Period of Insurance; or Provided that: (i) Any amount refunded to the Insured Person by the Common Carrier or Accomodation Provider in relation to the cancellation shall be deducted from the amount payable to the Insured Person under this Benefit; and (ii) All Claims must be supported by documentary evidence that the Insured Person has been unable to obtain a full refund from the Common Carrier or the accommodation provider even if refund amount is nil; and (iii) Company shall pay maximum of only one claim per insured under this cover for Sing...

Trip Cancellation. If You cancel Your Trip prior to the Scheduled Departure Date, We will reimburse You, up to the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits, for unused, forfeited, prepaid non-refundable Payments or Deposits for the Travel Arrangements You purchased for Your Trip, provided the cancellation occurs while coverage is in effect for You and is due to any of the following covered Unforeseen reasons, as defined:

Trip Cancellation. The District shall pay a bus driver a minimum of 1-1/2 hours on occasions when the driver reports for duty and the trip is cancelled without prior notice. Trip Cancellation. In such cases where it is necessary for the school/department to cancel a scheduled trip, due to unforeseen circumstances, school/department personnel will strive to notify Contractor as soon as possible. In cases where cancellation of a trip by the school/department occurs at least ten business days prior to date of trip there will be no trip and/or penalty charges assessed. For cancellation of a trip by the school/department less than ten business days prior to the date of trip a penalty payment of 10% or $200.00 per bus, whichever is less, will be paid to the Contractor upon invoicing unless the cancellation is the result of complaint/removal procedures. Cancellations made by the Contractor at least ten business days prior to the date of trip will be accepted by the school/department with no penalty. Cancellations made by the Contractor less than ten business days prior to the date of the trip will include a penalty payment to the school/department of 10% or $200.00 per bus, whichever is less. Continued cancellations may result in the removal of the Contractor from the list of approved contractors.

Trip Cancellation. 1. If a Regular Lineholder is ready and available to fly and her/his scheduled trip, or portion thereof, is canceled due to weather, mechanical issue, or other operational issue, she/he will either be reassigned, be placed on Time Available Reserve (TAR) or Ready Reserve, or be released. 2. Such Flight Attendant placed on Reserve or Ready Reserve shall not be required to be available prior to the report of her/his original pairing or after her/his originally scheduled check-out time. If a reassignment becomes available, the affected Flight Attendant will receive the assignment before other Reserves and are not subject to time balancing. 3. For the purposes of flight pay: a. A Flight Attendant if not given a flight assignment pursuant to this paragraph will receive pay and credit for the original trip. b. A Flight Attendant when given a flight assignment pursuant to this Paragraph, will receive pay and credit for the rescheduled trip or her/his original trip, whichever is greater.

Trip Cancellation. The Company will reimburse You for Trip costs for which premium has been paid up to the amount set forth in the Schedule of Benefits for the cost of unused non-refundable prepaid expenses for travel arrangements, whenever you are prevented from taking a trip for any of the following reasons that occur after the Effective Date and prior to the Scheduled Departure Date of your Plan: (a) Illness, Injury, or death of You, Your Traveling Companion, business partner, or Immediate Family Member of either You or Your Traveling Companion that results in medically imposed restrictions as certified by a legally qualified physician at the time of loss, preventing Your continued participation in the trip. (b) Strike that causes complete cessation of services of Your Common Carrier for at least 48 consecutive hours. (c) Weather that causes complete cessation of services of Your Common Carrier for at least 48 consecutive hours. (d) Employer termination or layoff affecting You, Your parent, stepparent, legal guardian, or a person sharing the same room. Employment must have been with the same employer for at least three continuous years. (e) Terrorist Activity. The Terrorist Activity must occur in a city listed on Your itinerary within 30 days prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date. This same city must not have experienced a Terrorist Activity within the 90 days prior to the Terrorist Activity, which is causing Your cancellation. Benefits are not provided if Your Travel Supplier offers a substitute itinerary. (f) Xxxxxx, quarantine, jury duty, or court ordered appearance as a witness in a legal action in which You or Your Traveling Companion are not a party (except law enforcement officers). (g) Primary residence of You or Your Traveling Companion is rendered uninhabitable due to unforeseen circumstances. (h) Xxxxxxxx of You or Your Traveling Companion's primary residence within 10 days of departure or during Your trip. (i) Felonious Assault of You or Your Traveling Companion within 10 days of departure or during Your trip. (j) You or Your Traveling Companion are called to emergency military duty for a national disaster other than war. (k) Traffic accident directly involving either You or Your Traveling Companion, substantiated by a police report, while en route to a scheduled departure point.
