Remediate definition
Remediate or “Remediation” means any action of any kind to address an Environmental Condition, or the Release or presence of Hazardous Substances into or in the Environment at the Project Site or any Off-Site Real Property, including (i) monitoring, investigation, assessment, treatment, clean-up, containment, remediation, removal, mitigation, response, or restoration work,

Remediate or "Remediation" when used with respect to Hazardous Materials means to clean up, xxxxx, contain, treat, stabilize, monitor, remediate, remedy, remove, or otherwise control Hazardous Materials, or to restore the affected area to the standard required by the applicable Environmental Regulatory Agency in accordance with applicable Environmental Laws and any additional Port requirements. "Remediation" also includes the creation of a remedial work plan to be approved by the appropriate Environmental Regulatory Agency when required.
