Underlying Asset definition

Underlying Asset means the object or underlying asset in a CFD which may be Currency Pairs (for FX Contracts), Equity Indices, base or precious Metals, Forwards, Commodities, Stocks, Shares Indices and Futures. It is understood that the list is subject to change and Clients must refer each time on the Trading Platform.
Underlying Asset means property of any description (including a currency or currency pair) or an index or other factor designated in a CFD Transaction to which reference is made to fluctuations in the value or price for the purpose of determining profits or losses under the CFD Transaction;
Underlying Asset means the financial instrument (i.e. stock, futures, commodity, currency, index) on which a derivative’s price is based.

Examples of Underlying Asset in a sentence

  • You acknowledge that upon opening a Buy or closing a Sell, you may only do so at the price quoted by the Trading Platform to purchase such Underlying Asset.

  • The Company provides Quotes by taking into account the Underlying Asset price, but this does not mean that these Quotes are within any specific percentage of the Underlying Asset price.

  • When the relevant Underlying Market is closed, the Quotes provided by the Company will reflect what the Company thinks to be the current Bid and Ask price of the relevant Underlying Asset at that time.
