Night Shift Premium Sample Clauses

Night Shift Premium. Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

Night Shift Premium. Any employee who works between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am shall receive an additional twenty five (25¢) cents per hour premium in addition to their normal rate of pay for each hour or portion of an hour so assigned.

Night Shift Premium. Any employee whose majority of working hours fall between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. the following morning shall receive a night shift premium of one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour in addition to the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on said shift.

Night Shift Premium. Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5:00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one ($1.50) dollar and fifty cents per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee's hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. The night shift premium shall be paid for all hours including General Holiday pay and overtime. This sub-article shall not result in duplication of premiums, except in the case of sub-article 16.04, Lead Hand Premium.

Night Shift Premium. Night shift premium is compensation for employees who work a scheduled night or graveyard shift when more than half of the hours of such shifts occur between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Compensation for working such established shifts shall be seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour for both second (night) shift and third (graveyard) shift.

Night Shift Premium. The Night shift premium shall be seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour for all hours worked between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Night Shift Premium. Employees shall be paid at a premium of two dollars ($2.00) an hour for all hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Night Shift Premium. (a) A night shift employee shall be defined as any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (b) A night shift employee receives a premium of sixty (60¢) cents per hour for all hours worked on the night shift in a given week. (c) The night shift premium is considered part of the employee’s regular pay for the calculation of vacation pay, and paid General Holidays.

Night Shift Premium. (i) This sub-paragraph (i) only applies to employees hired before December 1, 2011. Helpers who are employed on a shift in which the greatest number of working hours come within the period of 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. shall receive a premium of five percent (5%) over the regular rate for such jobs. Employees in other classifications falling within Subsection (a)(6) of this Section shall receive a premium of five percent (5%) over the regular rate for such jobs, provided that such night shift differential has not been expressly negotiated and added to the rate of such jobs. (ii) This sub-paragraph (ii) only applies to employees hired on or after December 1, 2011. Employees new to a shift who are employed on a shift in which the greatest number of working hours come within the period of 12 midnight to 6 a.m. shall receive a premium of five percent (5%) over the regular rate for such jobs for all hours worked provided that such night shift differential has not been expressly negotiated and added to the rate of such jobs.

Night Shift Premium. 10.01 Every hourly-rated employee shall be paid a night shift premium of $1.00 per hour for work performed by him/her and required by the Company after four (4:00) p.m. in a day and before seven-thirty (7:30) a.m. in the following day, provided however, that such premiums shall not be paid for any time worked in respect of which overtime premium is payable. For the purposes of this Agreement, such night shift premium shall not be considered as forming part of an employee's hourly rate.
