Continuous Employment definition

Continuous Employment has the same meaning as specified in the Employer’s Terms and Conditions of Employment on the date of signing of this agreement; (emploi continu)
Continuous Employment and “Continuous Service” means:
Continuous Employment means the employment of a worker under an agreement or under more than one agreement where the interval between an agreement and the next agreement does not exceed 28 days;

Examples of Continuous Employment in a sentence

  • The Participant shall vest in the PSUs to the extent provided in paragraph 5(b) (“Performance Requirement”) only if the Participant satisfies the requirements of paragraph 5(c) (“Three-Year Continuous Employment Requirement”), except as otherwise provided in paragraph 7 (“Early Cancellation/Accelerated Vesting of PSUs”).

  • Thereafter, each Employee shall become a Participant on the day on which he or she completes one (1) year of Continuous Employment.


More Definitions of Continuous Employment

Continuous Employment means full-time or part-time employment that is uninterrupted except for authorized leaves (e.g., vacation, sick, etc.).
Continuous Employment means the absence of any interruption or termination of employment with the Company and the performance of substantial services. Continuous Employment shall not be considered interrupted or terminated in the case of sick leave, short-term disability (as defined in the Company’s sole discretion), military leave or any other leave of absence approved by the Company unless and until there is a Separation from Service (as defined in Section 2(e) below).
Continuous Employment means the absence of any interruption or termination of service as an Employee or Non-Employee Director by the Company or any Subsidiary. Continuous Employment or "continuous service" - means uninterrupted employment in the Public Service of British Columbia subject to the provisions of Clause 11.3;
