Total Compensation definition

Total Compensation means the cash and noncash dollar value earned by the executive during the Contractor’s preceding fiscal year and includes the following (for more information see 17 CFR 229.402(c)(2)):

Examples of Total Compensation in a sentence

  • The Contractor’s Total Compensation System shall be fully documented, consistently applied, and acceptable to the Contracting Officer.

  • DOE-approved standards (e.g., set forth in an advance understanding or appendix), if any, shall be applied to the Total Compensation System.

  • The Base Withholding Amount will be adjusted each Taxable Year for inflation, using the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics Compensation (Not Seasonally Adjusted): Employment Cost Index for Total Compensation, private industry workers.

  • If the Services are being performed as part of an applicable “public works” or “maintenance” project, as defined by the Prevailing Wage Laws, and if the Total Compensation is $1,000 or more, Consultant and its subconsultants shall fully comply with the Prevailing Wage Laws for their employees and any others to whom such laws are applicable.

  • The City may issue any number of Approved Service Orders provided that the sum of the maximum compensation of all Approved Service Orders cannot exceed the Maximum Total Compensation (defined in Subsection 10.1 below).


More Definitions of Total Compensation

Total Compensation means the cash and noncash dollar value earned by the executive during the recipient’s or subrecipient’s pre- ceding fiscal year and includes the following (for more information see 17 CFR 229.402(c)(2)):
Total Compensation means compensation including salary, wages, bonuses, awards of stock, and any other financial benefits provided by the Recipient or an Affiliate, as applicable, which shall be determined and calculated for the 2019 calendar year or any applicable 12-month period in respect of any Employee or Corporate Officer of the Recipient in the manner prescribed under paragraph e.6 of the award term in 2 CFR part 170, App. A, but excluding any Severance Pay or Other Benefits in connection with a termination of employment. Wage means, without duplication of any amounts counted as Benefits, a payment, typically paid on an hourly, daily, or piecework basis, including cost-of-living differentials, vacation, paid time off, sick leave, and overtime pay, paid by the Recipient to its Employees, but excluding any Federal, state, or local payroll taxes paid by the Recipient.
Total Compensation means compensation including salary, wages, bonuses, awards of stock, and any other financial benefits provided by the Borrower Eligible Business or an Affiliate, as applicable, which shall be determined and calculated for the 2019 calendar year or any applicable twelve (12)-month period in respect of any Employee or Corporate Officer of the Borrower Eligible Business in the manner prescribed under paragraph e.5 of the award term in 2 C.F.R. part 170, App. A, but excluding any Severance Pay or Other Benefits in connection with a termination of employment.
